Trygghetscentralen is a municipal company serving 6 municipalities in Skåne Nordost that started operations on January 1, 2023. The company was previously a department within the Kristianstad Rescue Service.
Trygghetscentralen operates in a SOS computer environment for the municipalities in Skåne Nordost, handling municipal emergency services, security alarms, automatic alarms such as fire and burglary, personal alarms, camera surveillance, and 112 calls where we alert the rescue service. Our goal is for our citizens to feel safe and receive help around the clock, all year round.
You will be part of a team of about 20 employees who together staff the central office.
As an alarm operator, you will be responsible for receiving municipal security alarms, municipal fault reports, municipal emergency services, camera surveillance, and alerting the rescue service in Skåne Nordost, among other tasks. The work is conducted in an advanced computer environment.
The job involves shift work, including day, evening, night, and weekends.
The position is security classified, and a security clearance will be conducted before employment, which requires you to be a Swedish citizen.

Requirements
You have a high school education or other experience that the employer deems equivalent. It is advantageous if you have post-secondary education in a relevant field for the position.
Experience as an alarm or control operator, or equivalent experience, or familiarity with interviewing and communicating with customers over the phone is also advantageous. Experience in meeting people in particularly vulnerable situations is also a merit.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
